QJ201 is a water soluble, inorganic alkali chloride and should be used only in well ventilated areas. This flux is designed for use with aluminum brazing filler metals for joining of aluminum alloys in an open air brazing processes Avoid breathing fumes produces in brazing.

QJ201 is an aluminum brazing flux, used primarily with gas-oxygen torches, induction and

furnace brazing applications of aluminum alloys. It is formulated for use with aluminum

brazing filler metal ER4047 / ER4045.

QJ201 is corrosive and a post-braze cleaning or rinsing operation in water at above 50°C is required.

QJ201 contains chemicals that require this flux be used only in well-ventilated areas.

Wear gloves, goggles, and ventilation masks. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Avoid breathing dust and fumes produced during soldering processes. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with water and call a physician immediately.

Store flux in cool, un-humid environment in a very tightly sealed container. Desiccant bags are recommended to prevent hygroscopic absorption of humidity into the flux.

QJ201 has a two (2) year shelf life when stored properly.
